CRISS, Inc. Corporate Experience

CRISS, Inc. has provided services as a sub-contractor to the District of Columbia since June, 1999. We helped IBM and the District of Columbia Government successfully renovate the UPPS and PAPS legacy payroll systems ahead of schedule and under budget for Y2K.

Since that time CRISS, Inc. has been the prime sub-contractor for CeKA Technologies who has held the payroll support contract since Spring, 2000. In that role, CRISS, Inc. has processed all payrolls for the District of Columbia Government on schedule.

CRISS, Inc. has successfully performed routine maintenance for the UPPS, PAPS, Supplemental, CAPPS, CAPPS (DC Public Schools) payroll systems, FMS (Financial Management System), SF2806 system and other District payroll sub-systems. Examples of maintenance include tax table updates, service and CBU code tables, legislative changes, rate file changes and any other changes required to keep the systems in compliance with Federal and DC law.

CRISS, Inc. has successfully compiled all data required for the District's year-end processes including W-2 and 1099R information.

CRISS, Inc. performs all new development for the UPPS, PAPS, Supplemental, CAPPS, CAPPS (DC Public Schools) payroll systems, FMS (Financial Management System), SF2806 system and other District payroll sub-systems. This project management and software updating work includes working the District's Project Change Request System for the UPPS Rate File Consolidation Project, SOAR Interface, New 485 Reporting using SOAR Attributes, College Savings Plan, Short Term Disability Program, CAPPS (DC Public Schools) semi-monthly to bi-weekly conversion, conversion of all agencies (excluding DC Public Schools) from CAPPs back to the UPPS system and many other development projects.

CRISS, Inc. performs all ad-hoc reporting and permanent reporting for the UPPS, PAPS, Supplemental, CAPPS, CAPPS (DC Public Schools) payroll systems, FMS (Financial Management System), SF2806 system and other District payroll sub-systems.
