Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)
CRISS has been tasked to develop a proposed business model for the FDIC for electronic procurement, and a comparison of 2 financial vendors the FDIC is currently evaluating. The proposed business model included alternatives and recommendation regarding electronic procurement as a best fit within the FDIC as well as considering industry trends and projections. This analysis also included the identification of the type of procurement activities (i.e. procurement of goods, services, small purchases, use of GSA Schedule, related policy and procedures, FDIC activity, etc.) and identification of the workload in each of those activities and to determine if the highest payoff is realized at the Contract Office, Program Office, Contracting Officer, Oversight Manager, etc. In addition to providing FDIC with analysis of industry information of electronic procurement with a proposal to blend these concepts into the FDIC, we provided technology concepts for use internal analysis, planning and decision-making.
